The Next Evolution of an EnTCo Project

After the success of Wild Earth™: African Plains Edition and the custom version for the Philadelphia Zoo, EnTCo began work on the next adventure in this series.
NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary Program worked closely with EnTCo to blue-sky a virtual underwater journey that allows riders to visit various depths of the ocean in a submersible-themed motion base.
Under NOAA's direction, EnTCo's creative team dove into the U.S. sanctuaries, literally and figuratively--experiences that are directly translated into the interactive adventure. NOAA's subject matter experts continue to guide the ride's discussions of marine life and their conservation and stewardship messages are communicated throughout the voyage.
EarthEcho has joined the project to provide subject matter experts and to help shape the messaging of the experience. Philippe Cousteau, President of EarthEcho, son of Philippe Cousteau and grandson of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, will be a narrator for the project. Michiko Martin, oceanographer and National Education Coordinator for NOAA's NMSP will join Cousteau in guiding guests through 3 major environments representing the mid-to-southern coast of California.
Due to be launched Spring 2008 in existing 2-player motion bases around the world, a new 4-person platform, as well as a walk-up kiosk will be introduced soon.
The new platform will offer an immersive dome display option. EnTCo's engineers and designers are creating the new electric Wild Earth™ motion base with a smaller footprint so it can be rolled into place, plugged in and immediately be ready for your next safari.
